Three standard lengths cover most sites. For serious swimmers, the custom-length program goes to 30m — the longest fibreglass lap pool you can buy.
Built for narrow blocks
2.78m wide on the custom-length, 2.8m on the 12.3 and 10.3. Fits side-of-house, rooftops, sloping infill, almost anywhere a family pool can’t go.
Above-ground capable
Maxi Rib structural ribbing makes freestanding above-ground installs viable — we’ve built Fastlanes on penthouse roofs, over garages, on steeply sloping coastal blocks.

In-floor cleaning across the full length of the pool. Especially valuable on lap pools where the swim corridor stays clear without hand-vacuuming.
Spa Nexus combo
Integrated spa attached to one end of the pool. Share equipment and heating with the pool, full year-round use.
Beach entry
Gradual zero-edge entry at one end. Lap swimmers walk in like a beach — the Mornington 10.3 above is a beach + spa + Fastlane combo.
Glass wall / window
Architectural glass panel inset into the pool wall — lets you see the water from inside the house. The South Melbourne 8m above is a glass-wall build.
Maxi Rib above-ground
Engineered structural ribbing makes freestanding above-ground installs viable — rooftops, garage decks, steep slopes. The South Melbourne and Altona projects on this page are Maxi Rib installs.

Fastlane is the dedicated lap pool. If lap swimming is one of several priorities, another shape probably suits better.
Want laps and family use?
If you want serious lap swimming AND a bench, a sun shelf, somewhere for the kids to stand — the X-Trainer is the all-rounder. Same swimming corridor, plus an actual pool.
Want entertaining first, swimming second?
If the pool is more for parties, games and lounging than for swimming proper, a wider family-pool shape reads better in a backyard.
Smallest possible footprint?
For tight courtyards, terraces and side-of-house spots where even a Fastlane 10.3 is too long, our Plunge & Relax range starts at 2.85m.

Common questions about the Fastlane
How long can a custom-length Fastlane go?
Up to 30m. The Rye project on this page is a 24m build — two shells linked at a Nexus edge. For longer than 30m, the construction approach changes (the shells are no longer single moulded fibreglass), so we’ll talk through options if your block needs more.
How deep is a Fastlane?
Constant 1.46m the full length. That’s the depth designed for swimming — deep enough to flip-turn cleanly, shallow enough that the floor stays visible. Unlike a family pool, there’s no shallow end and no deep end.
Can I put a Fastlane on a rooftop or sloping site?
Yes. The Fastlane is the shape we’ve installed on the most challenging sites — penthouse rooftops, multi-storey garage decks, steeply sloping coastal blocks. Maxi Rib structural ribbing makes it possible. The South Melbourne and Altona projects on this page are both above-ground installs.
Can a Fastlane have a spa?
Yes — the Spa Nexus combo attaches an X-Trainer spa to one end of the Fastlane. Share equipment and heating; the lap corridor stays unobstructed. Several projects on this page (Mornington, Altona, Dromana, Berwick) are pool-spa combo builds.
How much does a Fastlane cost?
Depends on length, customisations and site. A standard 10.3 install sits in the lower-to-mid range of our pricing; a 12.3 mid-range; a custom-length over 15m is a significant custom build. Use our pool loan calculator for indicative weekly repayments, or request a free quote for accurate pricing.
How long does a Fastlane install take?
Eight to twelve weeks from quote acceptance for a standard install; longer for custom-length builds with two shells, indoor installs, or rooftop logistics. The shell itself goes in within a single day; the rest is council, plumbing, electrical, fencing, landscaping.
