Sanctuary fibreglass pools — geometric, entertainer-first

A modern geometric shape with a full-length bench and wide entry steps. Designed for family entertaining first — volleyball, parties, lounging — with clean architectural lines that anchor a landscape design. Nine sizes from a 4.8m courtyard fit to a 10.6m entertainer.

Why this shape

A geometric family pool, built for entertaining

Most pools lean toward swimming. The Sanctuary leans toward entertaining — wider, deeper-centre proportions, a long bench seat, and clean rectangular geometry that reads as a landscape feature.

Full-length bench seat

Bench runs the full length of one side — somewhere for kids who can’t reach the bottom, for adults to sit and chat, and as a safety break for non-swimmers. Doubles as a lounger ledge in the shallow end.

Geometric rectangular shape

Clean rectangular proportions, sharp corners. Reads as a deliberate architectural element — coping, paving, fencing all line up cleanly off the rectangle. Particularly strong for modern home builds.

Built for family entertaining

Wide proportions and a deeper-centre profile make the Sanctuary the shape best suited to pool games — volleyball, marco polo, the kids inviting the whole street over. The bench gives parents somewhere to actually sit in the water.

Three narrow variants for tighter sites

Sanctuary 8.2 Narrow, 7.0 Narrow and 6.0 Narrow are 3.38–3.4m wide instead of 4.2m — same geometric proportions, less width. Useful for inner-city blocks where you want the entertainer feel but don’t have the room for a 4.2m-wide pool.

Sizes & Dimensions

Nine Sanctuary sizes — including three narrow variants

All measurements are actual shell dimensions. The graduated floor is shallow at the entry, deeper in the centre for games and entertaining.

Make it yours

Customisations that work on the Sanctuary

The Sanctuary’s clean geometric shape makes it especially well-suited to architectural customisations like infinity edges and glass walls.

Comparing your options

Sanctuary not quite right? Look at these shapes

The Sanctuary is the entertainer-first geometric pool. If your priorities lean different, another Compass shape may suit better.

Want serious lap swimming?

The Sanctuary’s shape isn’t designed for lap swimming — the bench on one side breaks the corridor. For real laps, the X-Trainer or Fastlane suit better.

Want a more classic rectangle?

The Sanctuary and Vogue both have rectangular shapes. The Vogue has central entry steps and a full-width bench at one end — reads more classic. The Sanctuary has its bench along the side, which reads more contemporary.

Smallest possible footprint?

If even the Sanctuary 4.8 is too big, our Plunge & Relax range starts at 2.85m — designed for tiny courtyards, side-of-house and apartment terraces.

Common questions about the Sanctuary

What’s the difference between Sanctuary and Vogue?

Both are rectangular geometric pools. The Vogue has central entry steps and a full-width bench at one end — classic look. The Sanctuary has its bench running along one side full-length, with steps at one corner — more contemporary, more entertainer-feel. Choose Sanctuary if you want a modern geometric pool with a long lounging bench.

Can a Sanctuary have an infinity edge?

Yes — particularly well-suited to the Sanctuary 9.4 and 10.6. The geometric shape makes the infinity-edge line read cleanly. Needs either a sloping block or an above-ground install with Maxi Rib.

Is there a narrow version?

Yes — three of them. The Sanctuary 8.2 Narrow and 7.0 Narrow are 3.4m wide, and the 6.0 Narrow is 3.38m, compared to the 4.2m standard. Designed for narrow inner-city blocks and side-of-house sites where a standard Sanctuary won’t fit.

Can a Sanctuary go above-ground or on a sloping site?

Yes — the Ferntree Gully project on this page is exactly that: a Sanctuary 9.4 installed above-ground with Maxi Rib structural ribbing on a sloping site. The clean geometric shape works particularly well with this kind of architectural install.

How much does a Sanctuary cost?

Depends on size, customisations and site conditions. A standard 6.0 Narrow install starts at the lower end of the range; an 8.2 with Vantage sits mid-range; a 10.6 with infinity edge and spa combo is top end. Use our pool loan calculator for indicative weekly repayments, or request a free quote for accurate pricing.

How long does a Sanctuary install take?

Eight to twelve weeks from quote acceptance for a standard install. The shell itself is craned in within a single day; the rest is council, plumbing, electrical, fencing, landscaping. Above-ground or infinity-edge builds may take longer.
