The Vogue is the shape most people imagine when they picture a backyard pool — clean lines, simple geometry, room for everyone. We’ve refined the standard so the proportions actually work.
Full-width bench seat
Bench runs the full width at the deep end — somewhere for kids who can’t reach the floor, somewhere for adults to sit in cooler water, conversation zone for parties.
Classic rectangle proportions
4.2m wide on the standard sizes, 3.0m on the slim variants. Reads as a deliberate architectural element in landscape design — coping lines, paving, fencing all sit cleanly off the rectangle.
Two slim versions for narrow blocks
The Vogue 8.2 Slim and 7.2 Slim are 3.0m wide instead of 4.2m — built for side-of-house and narrow inner-city blocks where a standard rectangle won’t fit.

Vogue not quite right? Look at these shapes
The Vogue is the classic rectangle. If your priorities lean further toward swimming, family/entertaining, or smaller-site, another Compass shape may suit better.
Want a real lap-swim corridor?
The Vogue has central steps and a full-width bench — great for family use, but breaks up the lap corridor. If swimming laps is the main priority, the X-Trainer (lap-friendly with a bench-on-the-side instead of full-width) or Fastlane (dedicated lap pool) suits better.
Want a more contemporary geometric shape?
The Vogue is a classic rectangle. If you want crisp modern lines and a more architectural feel — squared corners, geometric proportions — the Contemporary or Sanctuary read more contemporary.

Common questions about the Vogue
What’s the difference between Vogue and X-Trainer?
Both are family pools in similar lengths. The Vogue has central entry steps and a full-width bench at one end — classic rectangle proportions, great for entertaining. The X-Trainer has steps at both ends and a bench-on-the-side — keeps the swimming corridor down the centre unobstructed. Choose Vogue for entertaining-first, X-Trainer for swim-and-family.
Can I add a spa to a Vogue?
Yes — the Spa Nexus combo is one of the most popular Vogue customisations. The Western Melbourne project on this page is a sunken-spa setup; the Reservoir and Carnegie projects are standard pool-spa combos. Works on all Vogue sizes from the 7.2 up.
Can a Vogue have an infinity edge?
Less commonly than the X-Trainer or Fastlane — the Vogue’s central-steps geometry makes infinity edges harder to design cleanly. We’d generally point you to the X-Trainer 10.2 or 11.8 for an infinity build, or the Sanctuary for a geometric pool with infinity options.
Is there a Slim version?
Yes — the Vogue 8.2 Slim and 7.2 Slim are 3.0m wide instead of 4.2m. Designed for narrow inner-city blocks, side-of-house infill, and sites where a standard rectangle won’t fit. The Bundoora project on this page is a Vogue 8.2 Slim with a glass-window inset.
How much does a Vogue cost?

How long does a Vogue install take?
Eight to twelve weeks from quote acceptance for a standard install. The shell itself is craned in within a single day; the rest is council, plumbing, electrical, fencing, landscaping.
