Timeless. Low maintenance. Year-round usable. Raised — not buried in the lawn.

Second-time pool owners are the easiest clients to design for: they already know what worked last time and what frustrated them. This couple wanted clean lines that wouldn’t date, water that stayed clean without their input, and a structure that would sit as a deliberate landscape feature rather than a hole in the ground.

The pool sits above ground — engineered with a wrap edge beam for self-supporting strength.

The Contemporary 10.9 shell is raised above ground level, with a wrap edge beam carrying the structural load. The result is a bold, deliberate landscape feature — the pool reads as architecture, not as a backyard installation. No retaining walls visible, no surrounding earthwork.

Sunken spa pod with bubblers

A separate fibreglass spa vessel, water-linked to the pool. Seats 8–10, with bubblers running across the surface.

The spa is a separate Compass shell, connected to the main pool through a water link system — smooth circulation between the two while maintaining efficient filtration and heating. Bubblers create a hydrotherapy effect and a soft water-feature visual. Underwater paving picks up the spa stonework so the eye reads it as designed, not added.

Two vessels, one body of water

Precisely aligned, seamlessly connected — the kind of detail second-time owners notice immediately.

Two separate fibreglass shells aligned to within millimetres, with the water link carrying flow between them. From any angle the pool reads as one continuous body, with the spa pod as a deliberate architectural inset. Engineered carefully so that even after twenty years, the connection still looks intentional — not a retrofit.
