A pool that will look right in twenty years
On the Bass Coast, a pool is part of the lifestyle more than a luxury feature — the clients here briefed for a pool that would fit the house, fit the coastal location, and still look right after the trends had moved on. The Fastlane 12.3 in Pearl Bi-luminite, sequenced into the house build, delivered exactly that.
The brief
A modern, simple-looking pool that wouldn’t date over the decades.
Bold colours and elaborate water features look great in year one and tired by year ten. The brief here was the opposite — a pool that reads as part of the house, with lines simple enough that the visual won’t fight whatever interior trends come and go.
Light colours, blended paving
Pearl Bi-luminite plus paving chosen to flow into the house’s tone palette.
Pearl is light, luminous, neutral — it shifts subtly with the sky rather than declaring a hero colour. The paving was chosen to pick up the house’s tones so the pool doesn’t sit as a separate object on the property. The eye reads one composition, not house + pool.

Pool sequenced into the house build — not retrofitted after.
Building the pool alongside the house means full site access for excavators, no fence to negotiate, no compromise on shell positioning. It’s also when the paving and pool surrounds get integrated as part of the same design process — the ‘reads as one composition’ quality only happens when the pool is in the plan from day one.
